Today is our 31^st anniversary and I am ten weeks away from one breath from death. It’s hard to believe that only ten weeks ago I was choking to death after my lung collapsed at University Hospital the day after lung biopsy surgery. An emergency chest tube insertion saved my life which is causing the continual pain in my side and abdomen but I AM ALIVE, thank God!

Everyday God continues to heal me. I am getting stronger, my oxygen saturation levels are much like a "normal" person, and God is doing so much to help me see that daily He is loading me with blessing and healing. Just like it says in Psalms from the King James Version. (Picture a truckload everyday!)

Psalm 68:19 (King James Version) Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation.

One of the great blessings in my life is my beloved wife, Jan. She has been with me through thick and thin and today, June 15^th is our 31^st anniversary. I am a blessed man!

Proverbs 18:22 (New Living Translation) The man who finds a wife finds a treasure and receives favor from the Lord.

As God continues to heal me and gives me good progress, I just can’t help talking about it and giving Him thanks. I know I have a long way to go, but everyday is a blessing to me and the more I see of God’s hand working in my life, the more I praise Him, and it seems to open up for even more. I am blessed!
